Just Wheels puts bakkies in the spotlight

Vehicle enthusiasts can look forward to a day of motoring displays, family entertainment and community support.

Bakkie fans are in for a treat when the Just Wheels Club hosts its open day on August 30, with a special spotlight on these vehicles.

The club’s Bakkie Day will be held at the club’s clubhouse at 169 Kitzinger Avenue in Dalview, with gates opening at 09:00.

Entry is free, but visitors are encouraged to support Sunny’s Pet Outreach Team by donating dog or cat food to help the local animal welfare NPC continue assisting and rescuing animals in need.

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) will also be present, offering attendees the chance to donate blood.

Visitors can look forward to a display of vehicles, food stalls, flea market vendors and entertainment for children throughout the day.

Those wanting to book a stall can contact Hannetjie van der Mescht on 082 263 7567, while car clubs wishing to reserve a space can contact Daron Venter on 071 863 4989.

Organisers have reminded visitors that no open fires or alcohol may be brought onto the property. A licensed bar will be available on site.
