Security team members and officers arrived within minutes to secure the premises and process the scene.

Muriel Brand School extends sincere appreciation to ProSafe and Brakpan SAPS for their outstanding service following a break-in on the morning of September 11.
At 03:12, ProSafe reacted immediately after a break-in, preventing major losses for the school, and alerting SAPS.
Within 20 minutes, officers arrived to assist and to take a statement.
Before 07:00, the CAS number was issued, and at 09:15, the investigator and fingerprint department were already on site.
This efficient and professional response reassures us that Brakpan SAPS is committed to making a difference in our community.
Together with our armed response, they have shown that standing united is key to protecting our schools and neighbourhoods.
