I have heard that there was going to be action taken on the plastic squatter camp and I feel that the municipality could update the residents about this issue.
The plastic squatter camp is growing on a daily basis. The burning of the toxic plastic is affecting the health of the residents in a close radius to the squatter camp and this is becoming non-tolerable, and the pollution levels are disgusting.
I am amazed that this issue is not front page news every week, as this is such a eyesore for everybody entering Brakpan.
We cannot live with this toxic smoke, pollution and noise every day of our lives. Please, could action be taken?
