With reference to the focus on Brakpan’s centenary which featured in last week’s Herald:
What a beautiful Brakpan Herald “Golden Copy”.
This is a most cherished edition that will remain for many years to come.
Whosoever missed this well-covered story of the history of Brakpan will have to wait for the next 100 years.
I hope our community will show interest in the happenings around us.
We will need to keep the momentum and focus on issues such as vandalism, urban decay, collapsing infrastructure and attract investment to the town.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank the entire Brakpan Herald staff for the sterling work you do.
