Big entertainment at Brakpan Brawl
South African Pro Wrestling (SAPW) hosted their first home show for the year, “Brakpan Brawl – Open Season”, at the Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre, on Friday, April 4.
Gerhard Kuyper, of SAPW, praised the spectators for being awesome, as usual.
“We cannot wait for the next event in Brakpan,” he said.
The “Brakpan Brawl-Open Season” event results were very interesting: The Bandit defeated Harley Quinn in a match that did not even last 10 minutes.
JDX defeated HaVok, but only just.
He pulled out all the stops to live up to the crowd’s expectations.
In the divas’ match, Raven defeated Golden Angel by means of a disqualification from a questionable one-sided interference by the guest referee, and Cowboy defeated Thierry Middoux after nearly getting thumped by his opponent. Two powerhouses of the ring collided, but SAPW Heavyweight Champion “The Jackal” defended his title successfully against the DPW Heavyweight Champion, “Black Ice”.
This match was filled with powerful wrestling moves and hard hits.
In the main event, the “Boere Atoom” Boerseun managed to beat “The Dark One” Crow at his own game, in a brutal clash that was labelled “a semi-hardcore match”.
