DFC pick up three points
Brakpan-based Dalpark Football Club (DFC) took on Wattville Sundowns, in a Benoni South Local Football Association Division One encounter, on Saturday, February 28.
The team, coached by Brian Fray, bounced back from a 2-0 defeat to Nonstikilelo ‘B’ the previous weekend, to claim a morale-boosting 4-2 victory over Sundowns, in Actonville.
“The team played extremely well this week,” said Fray.
“We created a number of goal-scoring opportunities but, again, we also missed a lot of those chances.
“I am happy with the way the team performed, but I think there is still much room for improvement.
“We just need to take it one game at a time and to try to improve our position on the log standings by working hard at training.”
Goal-scorers for DFC were Dylan Fray, Isack Tshabalala (2) and Ketabile Madumo.
