Celebrate spring with racing
Spring is in the air and with it comes an extravaganza of oval track racing at The Rock Raceway.
In celebration of the arrival of the warmer weather, the Spring Club Oval Championship Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, September 12, at the local raceway.
All the top oval track competitors will be in action, hurtling around the 400m oval circuit in a quest to obtain a much desired podium position.
If high adrenaline is what you crave and what you thrive on, then make your way to The Rock for a feast of rotary and V8 action.
All the popular oval disciplines will be on display, including the micro midgets, 125 shifter karts, Formula 2 midgets, 1600 stock rods, 1660 modified saloons, super midgets, V8 Lexus class, outlaw V8 sprints, 2.1l Pinto class, Super Saloons and Formula N circuit racing.
- Meanwhile, if you want to test your daily drive in a legal and safe drag racing event, head on down to the Street 2 Strip Drags on the night of Sunday, September 13.
Gates open at 2pm and racing starts at 4pm.
