Smokey drift action anticipated at the Rock
All the country’s top drifters are expected to make their way to the Rock and dazzle in their high-speed chariots.
Drifters will once again put rubber to tarmac and produce a smokey affair at Brakpan’s renowned Rock Raceway circuit on Saturday, March 4.
The second round of the South African Drift Championship for 2017 is coming to town and it promises to be a spectacle of red-hot, sideways sliding action.
All the country’s top drifters are expected to make their way to the Rock and dazzle in their high-speed chariots.
The judges’ tricky circuit layout will test the skill levels of all the drifters, who will all be chasing the ultimate prize in the victory lane.
Gates open at 10am with practice sessions for drifters and the qualifying round.
The main event’s proceedings will commence properly at 4pm.
Fans are encouraged to bring along banners showing their support for their favourite competitors.
