Beaming Beamish now a sensei
Beamish has officially achieved the rank of sensei.
Benonian Laura Beamish (28) of the Dan Triangle Karate Club, instructed by sensei Chris Anthony (sixth Dan, Roku-Dan), graded to third Dan (San-Dan) on November 9 in Parktown North by the revered instructor, shihan Malcolm Dorfman (ninth Dan) and his grading panel.
Beamish started karate at the age of six.
