Rockmania kicks the year off

The annual event will feature drivers from the United Kingdom, Holland and Germany.

Rockmania Showdown and Euro Tour Combined starts 2020 off to a great start at the renowned Rock Racewayon January 18.

The annual event will feature drivers from the United Kingdom, Holland and Germany who will all take on South African racing drivers in the 1600 Stockrod and 2L Hotrods classes.

World champion in the 2L Hotrods Dave Leech and four other European top drivers will take on our local drivers in an all-out King of the Ring showdown.

In the 1600 Stockrod class a total of four racers, including one champ from Holland and the others from Germany and the UK, will also be chasing down silverware along victory lane in a battle of the Stockrods SA vs Euro Challenge.

In true Rockmania fashion style, all the other favourite disciplines will also be in action as the Drifters and Oval and Formula N Circuit drivers and drag racing will all partake and form part of the event.

Eager patrons can arrive from 10am when gates open for business with practice sessions throughout the course of the day and racing expected to start at 3pm.

Drift suicide rides for the bucket list junkies will also be on sale for all the adrenaline seekers.
