Moped Madness hosts golf day for Jabes Care Centre

Moped Madness is calling on the community to tee off for a good cause at the upcoming Jabes Care Centre Golf Day, helping raise funds for the care and support of vulnerable boys.

After years of supporting the Jabes Care Centre in Brakpan through various fundraising initiatives, Springs-based scooter club Moped Madness is once again rallying the community behind the home for boys, this time through a charity golf day on July 9.

“We’re thrilled to invite the public to join us for the Jabes Care Centre golf gay. This is a fun-filled event supporting our mission to care for and uplift our community,” said event co-ordinator Zenobia Duvenage.

Community members and businesses can support the fundraiser in two ways: by entering a four-ball team or sponsoring a hole.

Four-ball entries cost R1 800 and include pizza for players.

There are 15 holes available for sponsorship at R500 each, as well as three par-three holes available at R1 000 each.

The event will take place at State Mines Country Club in Brakpan North, with all proceeds going towards the ongoing work of the Jabes Care Centre and its efforts to provide care and support to boys in need.
