The industrial action that took place over two days last week at the SA Revenue Service (Sars) has come to an end, the revenue service said in a press release.
This follows Sars, the National Education Health & Allied Workers Union (Nehawu) and the Public Servants Association of South Africa (PSA) agreeing on a three-year multi-term agreement with an 8% increase on the guaranteed total packages of employees in the bargaining unit for this year.
For the two subsequent years of the agreement, the percentage salary increase will be determined on the projected CPI plus 2%, the statement said.
