A 19-year-old and his friends were left traumatised after being held at gunpoint during a house robbery in Khutsong Ext 6 on January 18.

A 19-year-old boy and his friends were left shaken after being held at gunpoint during a house robbery in Khutsong Ext 6 this past weekend.

The group was relaxing next to his family’s garage at around midnight on January 18 when the terrifying ordeal began.

The teenager spotted a dark shadow moving nearby just before an armed man stepped out and pointed a gun at him. The gunman forced the teenager and his friends into the garage.

Moments later, two more men appeared and demanded the key to the house.

The victim led the criminals into the house, and the criminals ransacked the home and garage.

They grabbed cellphones, a generator, a bush cutter, and speakers before fleeing on foot.

The police are investigating a house robbery case.
