The police in Carletonville are investigating a murder case following an incident in Blybank this week.

As far as could be determined, the 30-year-old man became involved in an argument with another resident at approximately 9:45 on Sunday, October 26.

They apparently fought over a woman.

During the course of the altercation, the victim was hit with a brick on his head.

His friends rushed him to Carletonville Hospital, but he passed away due to the seriousness of his wounds.
