The Carletonville SPCA is appealing to animal lovers to open their hearts and homes by adopting one of the many dogs and cats currently in its care.

The organisation has a large number of pets available for adoption, including many puppies and kittens looking for loving families.

Prospective adopters can visit the SPCA’s kennels in Beerster Street between 09:00 and 16:00 on weekdays or from 08:00 to 11:00 on Saturdays to meet the animals.

The SPCA also reminds pet owners to contact the organisation immediately if their dog or cat goes missing, as members of the public regularly bring stray animals to the kennels.
