Westfields Primary School supports Carletonville SPCA for Mandela Day

Learners, parents and teachers at Westfields Primary School joined forces to buy dog and cat food for animals in need at the Carletonville SPCA.

Westfields Primary School decided to reach out to animals in need for its Mandela Day action this year.

According to the school’s spokesperson, Wendy Lindeque, the school and teachers, together with its learners and their parents, raised money to help the Carletonville SPCA.

A total of R4 000 was raised during the action, which was used to buy dog and cat food. It was donated to the local SPCA.
