Wedela clinic holds open day

Many people attended the event.

Residents of Wedela had the chance to exercise last week during an event held by the Wedela clinic on September 25.

The clinic organised the open day together with Harmony Gold after health staff noticed an increasing number of mine workers coming to the clinic for sick notes.

The day began with a fun walk where attendees walked from the clinic to the corner opposite Wedela Technical High School and back.

Everyone present was then able to join in with aerobics before the more formal proceedings started.

During this time, various health officials and representatives from Harmony Gold, including a physiotherapist, spoke to the crowd about how to improve their health and overall well-being.
