Thugs rob woman in Vaal Street in Carletonville

The criminals spoke isiZulu.

A woman from Carletonville was robbed of her valuables during the past weekend.

The woman (32) was asleep in her back room in Vaal Street on October 23.

She was jolted awake at around 23:00 when two isiZulu-speaking men forced open the door. One of them was armed with a firearm.

The criminals demanded money and proceeded to search the room.

They grabbed all the woman’s money together with two cellphones and clothes.

They then ran away.

Luckily the woman was not injured.
