House robbers grab teenager at house in Carletonville

The police are still searching for the suspects.

A teenager became the victim of a house robbery in Disa Place in Carletonville this week.

The young resident (18) was watching soccer at midnight on October 21.

His grandmother had gone to sleep in the back room and he went to lock this door to keep her safe. He was, however, almost at this door when an unknown masked man walked up to him.

The thug, who was armed, accompanied the boy back to the main house and demanded money.

Although the boy told the thug that there was no money inside the house, the criminal tied him and his two sisters up. He then grabbed a plasma television set, two cellphones and clothes.

The siblings heard the man talking to someone on the phone, telling him to come to collect him. They also saw another man helping their attacker with the stolen goods.

Luckily the victims were not injured.
