
Last week, the Herald reported that burglars had stolen security doors from a house in Annan Street on 9 February.
According to the police’s communication officer, WO Peter Masooa, a similar incident took place in Botha Street this week.
The owner made sure that every-thing was in order when he left the business at around 17:30 on 12 February. When he returned at 04:00 the next morning, however, the outside lights and security cameras had been stolen.
The value of the stolen goods is R12,050.
