Illegal advertising on bridge nipped in the bud

Ward 125 takes a stand against illegal adevertising in Mondeor.

MONDEOR – Companies who have been illegally advertising their products and services on the bridge on Columbine Avenue in Mondeor are in for a rude awakening.

PR Cllr Peter Stewart has reported the advertisers to Urban Management as well as the Johannesburg council for a swift response to remove all illegal advertisements.

“We always find people advertising on the bridge and it’s been reported to Urban Management and the Johannesburg council to have the advertisements removed,” said PR Cllr Stewart.

An investigation by the council will follow the report to ascertain who the advertisers are and informed that what they are doing is illegal.
