GLENANDA – City Power has been informed and should be coming out this morning.

This isn’t the first substation to be vandalised in the area. On Sunday July 6, the substation at Van Wyk/ Van Beek in Glenanda, was hit again.

If you notice any suspicious activity around any substations

Members from Glenvista Community Policing Forum (GCPF) urge all residents living near sub stations to keep a look out for the “substation thief”. It appears he moves around on foot and may be picked up by a vehicle after he’s hit the substation.

If you experience power surges or power loss please call the GCPF hotline 076 898 8011.
