Stinking mess in Comaro Street Glenvista

A resident of Glenvista who regularly walks along Comaro Street, in between Pacem Street and Rooigras Avenue, Glenvista, contacted the Comaro CHRONICLE to report a sewage overflow on the grassed pavement.

GLENVISTA – “I walk along here every other day with a club and the smell and mess is atrocious! I can’t understand how the residents who live close by to the sewage overflow haven’t complained previously. It’s disgusting,” she said. “They must be able to smell it.”

The CHRONICLE contacted Ward 23 councillor, Paul Smit, who said, “I have reported this matter but will send another reminder through to the relevant departments. It’s also a health issue and it needs to be attended to as soon as possible.”
