From Africa to America for learners

Congratulations to pastor Wesley Ebrahim, the academy’s principal, and his team.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Learners from the Alpha and Omega Christian Academy in Mondeor, did exceptionally well at this year’s All Africa Student Convention, recently held in Bloemfontein.

Four learners have been chosen to represent Africa at the International Student Convention in America, they are Nomhle Timile (solo vocal winner), Nandi Timile (duet winner with Nomhle), Lorenzo Bonani (800m runner) and Sharon Makoni (long jump).

The vocal ensemble took second place, the quartet secured a third place and the Israeli and creative praise dancers took fourth place.
