Johannesburg Water warns of impending water interruptions

Johannesburg Water (JW), the city's water and sanitation service provider, wants to inform residents of water interruptions to come

Johannesburg Water (JW), the city’s water and sanitation service provider, wants to inform residents of water interruptions to come.

It appears as though one of the transformers that provide electricity to the Eikenhof station’s pump failed and it is believed that repairs will take a week.

Areas to affect our readers will be: Southdale; Mondeor; Southgate; Meredale; Alan Manor; Eagle’s Nest; Southfork; Kibler Heights; Eikenhof.

JW asks everyone to reduce their water consumption and refrain from filling pools, using hosepipes to wash vehicles and water gardens, and to keep bathwater for toilets and so on.
