Help MDS raise funds for the AACL this Mandela Day

The (AACL) is a non-profit organisation that has been protecting and caring for animals since 1956.

MDS Group has chosen the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) Johannesburg as their charity of choice to fulfil their Mandela Day initiative. Help the MDS Group by donating any amount of money or relevant goods to the shelter to make their lives a little bit better.

Winter is hard; however, it’s brutal on those left out in the cold – your unwanted pets! That’s why rescue shelters are their only hopes of survival.

It is a known fact that rescue shelters are hardest hit in winter because costs to keep the lights on, veterinary bills, food to feed the animals are constantly increasing. These things, as well as warm blankets for animals to sleep on, are desperately needed because shelters operate at full capacity during the winter months.

The (AACL) is a non-profit organisation that has been protecting and caring for animals since 1956. It is the second biggest independent animal welfare organisation in South Africa. The shelter does not receive a subsidy from the government and relies entirely upon the generosity and goodwill of the animal-loving public for financial support.

Their mobile clinics regularly visit disadvantaged areas and treat animals in need for a minimal fee. Awareness campaigns, which address issues such as the importance of sterilisation, are ongoing. The organisation also runs education programmes and schools visit the shelter on a regular basis.

Let the AACL be the recipient of your generous donations so you can help the animals of the AACL!
