MWCF executive committee tributes

Gail was part of the founding members of the forum and played a pivotal role in the Meredale West Community.

She was very hands-on in her approach and was always available to assist no matter what time of day or night.

Gail was instrumental in setting up the coordinators platform, which is still running like a well-oiled machine. Gailmoved to Naturena but offered that she will continue with her responsibilities in Meredale.

She was also actively involved in Naturena. Gail has left a huge gap in our community, but we will carry on with her legacy to ensure the good work she has done is continued. RIP, Gail, your voice will always reverberate in our community.

• When I became involved with MWCF, the heart and brain was Gail. Through all the years of community growth and gatherings, she was the same. When I had the pleasure of working with her on exec, she was the same. I miss her.

• My first encounter with Gail was in the Meredale West Community Forum. I loved her positive energy. She was very much welcoming. She served the Meredale community selflessly. One thing I loved about her, she was an upright person who spokes her mind. If something is not right, she will voice it out. She criticised constructively.

She was a true leader from whom I drew strength to serve. She was a free spirit, loving, caring and a cheerful giver. She is indeed irreplaceable. May her beautiful soul rest in eternal glory.
