City Power implements new changes with regards to how customers log calls

Account and meter numbers are important when logging calls with City Power.

To continue improving how City Power renders its service to customers, it has enhanced its call logging system and made the necessary changes, which include mandatory details before it responds to the outage calls.

From November 22, City Power will request that any customer calling to report an outage, should certify the mandatory field that includes an account number and meter number.

Its spokesperson Isaac Mangena said the field mandatory will apply to all customers when contacting it using its website, app on citypower.mobi, calling their contact centre, and/or visiting their walk-in centre including at the City of Joburg.
