Union hospital holds competition to promote pride in uniform
The Netcare Union Hospital held a competition between its departments during November.
According to Union’s HR manager, Mpho Kgalegi, the competition was held to promote a sense of pride among the employees of Union in their dress and appearance.
Weekly, departments that adhered the closest to the dress code were announced as the winner, with the overall winners announced on December 2.
The winning department was the reception and credit control department.
On December 3, members of the winning department received prizes sponsored by Old Mutual, FNB and Jimmy’s Killer Express Alberton. Daphne Huysamen, manager of the department, expressed her gratitude towards her team for stepping up and showing pride in their uniforms.
