Broken Wings receives donations from Monarchs bike club

Monarchs bike club donated art and craft supplies and some much-needed building supplies and paint to Broken Wings on December 16.

Monarchs motorbike club raises funds to donate and help charities annually, and this year they decided to help Broken Wings Association for Adults with Disabilities.

Broken Wings, which cares for adults ranging from ages 16 to 60, helps develop skills such as arts and crafts to keep their minds active.

Carl Jerling of Monarchs said the crafts made by the Broken Wingers are available for sale and that it is great work.

“The organisation’s house had also fallen victim to flooding recently. As a result, the boundary walls, electric fencing and gate motor suffered some damage. John and Linda Goodenough from the Taller Waller have joined us in assisting this organisation,” he said.

He told the RECORD the pair will make necessary repairs to the house so that the staff and Broken Wingers are kept safe.
