Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic School celebrates Earth Week

A variety of age specific activities were put together by passionate and dedicated teachers to bring awareness of ways in which we can be a part of making a difference in looking after our beautiful planet.

Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic School and all its learners from the preschool to the high school participated in Earth Week from April 17 to 21.

Passionate and dedicated teachers put together various age-specific activities to bring awareness of how we can be a part of making a difference in looking after our beautiful planet.

Fun was had whilst learning was taking place.

Everyday they were given an interesting fact about the earth and how they can make a difference by looking after natural resources.

They learnt about recycling, reusing, and reducing waste, how they can make a difference even if it is small, how the earth is home and how one should protect it.

Learners and staff alike were involved in sharing the message: A green future is a prosperous future. Much fun was had whilst learning was taking place.
