Two Marias Viljoen learners participate in Tricolour Games in Italy

Their athletics performances saw the two learners participate in the Tricolour Games in Italy.

Top performing athletes from Hoërskool Marias Viljoen High School, Hayleigh Kinnear in Grade 10 and Luanne du Plooy in Grade Nine, were selected to participate in the seventh Tricolour Games in Reggio Emilia, Italy, from July 24 to 30.

The Honours Function on July 15 was at the Brixton Multipurpose Centre.

Hayleigh’s items are the 100m, 200m, 400m and relay. Luanne’s items are the 100m, 200m, high jump and relay.

The learners were selected to represent Gauteng and worked hard to earn this honour.
