Showmax, the popular streaming service, is set to release a new eight-part mini-series called Red Ink on December 4.

Red Ink is based on a novel written by Angela Makholwa, and promises to be a beautiful story similar to other popular series.

The series will be shot in various locations across Johannesburg, including the west, south, north, and east. The production will take eight weeks to complete, with the first week of shooting on September 9 at the Il Camino Italian Restaurant in Murlbaton.

The series features some of the most popular actors in South Africa. One of the key attractions of Red Ink is its star-studded ensemble cast. Bonko Khoza and Nqobile Khumalo, two of the most popular and talented actors in the industry, are set to take on pivotal roles, adding depth and authenticity to the characters.

Their stellar performances will bring the narrative to life, providing viewers with a truly immersive experience. The series is produced by Bomb Productions. This is the same production company behind the epic historical drama Shaka iLembe.
