SUZUKI lends a helping hand to Muddy Princess

A total of 3 414 people attended the muddy Princess, ‘Your 5k Obstacle Mud Run’ sponsored by SUZUKI Alberton, SUZUKI JHB South, and Pink Drive organisation held on April 7 at Rietvlei Zoo Farm in Johannesburg south.

Muddy Princess is an outdoor 5km obstacle mud run for women only with an emphasis on having a ‘girls’ dirty day out’ in the mud.

The event does not focus on the fastest times or competitions; the focus is fun.

Muddy Princess focuses on outreach causes, especially those that focus on women’s health. The event has partnered with the Pink Drive which promotes regular mammogram checks to encourage early detection and prevention of breast cancer.

“The course had 18 to 19 obstacles with a variety of challenges where participants had to run/walk/ crawl/climb/ slide/ balance and laugh their way to the finish line.

“The event also included an event village which invited spectators to spend a fun day out enjoying food and beverages, as well as fun activations run by the various sponsors,” explained Michele Rogers from Muddy Princess.

This activity tested their strength, balance, and agility while also providing a fun and exciting experience for the participants.

The event encourages teamwork as participants help each other through the obstacles they face during the run.
The event offered a day of complete fun, laughter, comradery, and women empowerment as part of their ‘girls’ dirty day out’ experience.
