Voortrekkers launch ‘Paint it Pink’ challenge for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Org Meyer Voortrekkers are again at the forefront of painting October pink – with a twist.

With this, the Voortrekkers are throwing out the challenge to all men. Are you a man enough to paint a pink ribbon on your nails? Why not sign up on Org Meyer Voortrekkers’ website and challenge your friends to do it with you?

October is International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to remind each other of the importance of regular mammograms and self-examinations.

Breast cancer can affect anyone, and early detection is crucial. While a mammogram may not be a pleasant experience, it is essential to our health.

The Paint it Pink Challenge, which runs through October, encourages individuals, male and female, to paint their nails pink as a symbol of their commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer.

Even while camping the Voortrekkers made time to have their nails painted pink.

It is a gesture that symbolises unity, support and the strength of community in the face of adversity.

Challenge someone today; encourage them to stand their ground and paint their nails pink.
