Pikitup addresses waste collection delays

Pikitup management confirms while employees at all depots have reported for duty, waste collection services have not commenced because of an internal work stoppage.

Spokesperson Muzi Mkhwanazi said management is engaging with worker representatives to address the concerns and expedite a resolution.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused and assure residents that restoring normal services is our top priority. We will share updates on the recovery plan as the situation progresses and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time,” he said.
