The children cheered as the dogs rolled over, sat on command, jumped through hoops and crawled through the tunnel.

The fun did not stop there. Each child had the chance to brush the dogs’ fur, learning how to care for animals.

The session also included an educational talk, where Sue Green, their owner, shared how she uses the dogs’ fur to make beautiful jerseys, hats, and scarves.

It fascinated the children to learn how she collected the fur and transformed it into warm clothing.

Green expressed how much she enjoyed the visit, “It has been a while since we have been to a school, and it was wonderful to see the children so happy. They loved the dogs and learned a lot about them,” she said.

The principal of the preschool, Riette, was equally grateful, “The children had an amazing time, and it was a great learning experience they do not every day get to spend time with such lovely furry friends.”

The visit was a heart-warming way to kick off the Easter holidays, leaving the children with smiles and a greater appreciation for animals.
