WATCH: Open your heart and help Sir John Adamson Drummies

Your contribution can help a young girl realise her dream.

Sir John Adamson Drum Majorettes need your support to represent South Africa in the national finals in Oudtshoorn this July.

The inspiring group of young girls from Sir John Adamson High School have qualified to represent Gauteng at the South African Drum Majorette nationals.

The team consists of 60 passionate and hardworking girls, the majority of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Many are being raised by single parents or extended family, and some have no parental support at all. Despite their challenges, they’ve shown unmatched discipline, dedication, and teamwork.

Their qualification is not just a victory in sport – it’s a triumph of resilience and hope.

What they need:

The cost of the trip is R8 500 per child, covering transport, accommodation, meals, uniforms, and competition costs.

For most families, this is an impossible amount to afford without help.

Help them shine in Oudtshoorn this July.

How you can help:

Sponsor a girl (full or partial contribution), donate in-kind support (transport, food, accommodation, uniforms) or make a once-off donation. Every contribution, big or small, brings them closer to their goal.
