JOY Dogs charm at The Steaming Mug

The café's thoughtful setup made for an unforgettable visit as Sue Green and her famous JOY Dogs connected with the community.

The JOY Dogs and Sue Green recently enjoyed a heartwarming visit to The Steaming Mug in Alberton, which is known for its welcoming atmosphere, especially for furry friends.

Accompanied by her furry trio, Sue was delighted by the café’s thoughtful setup for pet lovers. “It’s so nice to find a pet-friendly restaurant,” she said. “The outdoor area is not only comfortable but even has clips on the tables so you can secure your dog’s lead. It’s these small touches that make all the difference.”

Her experience at The Steaming Mug took a musical turn when she met Ken, a team member at the café. Ken extended a special invitation for Sue to perform on guitar at their Mother’s Day celebration.

With her talent, Sue added a little extra joy to the café’s Mother’s Day event. “This was all well received and I have been asked to play again,” she added with a smile.
