Bhakti Marga spreads love with feast at Turffontein Primary School

Learners received biryani, fruit, snacks, and sweets as part of the Mulbarton-based organisation’s outreach to inspire hope and keep children off the streets.

Turffontein Primary School learners were treated to a feast on June 13 by Bhakti Marga – an organisation based in Mulbarton that promotes devotion to the Lord and His creations.

Bernie Govender, a former school inspector, said they chose the school because the principal, Pexie Jafta, is so passionate about it.

They brought biryani, fruit, water, snacks, and sweets.

“We spread love and celebrate by giving. We will continue this relationship with the school. We want children to stay off the streets, and we aim to give them hope and nurture their growth,” she said.
