#Holler 2025 takes a united stand against abuse and human trafficking
The annual campaign returns with greater impact, calling on communities, businesses and survivors to raise their voices and take action against domestic violence and human trafficking.
The annual #Holler campaign, South Africa’s powerful movement against domestic violence and human trafficking, returns this year with greater purpose, urgency, and impact.
In proud partnership with Mall of the South, Gold Reef City, and the SOJO Helping Hands Foundation, #Holler 2025 aims to unite people from all walks of life: survivors, advocates, government leaders, and private businesses, in one resounding call for change.
More than just an event, #Holler is a platform of hope where stories are shared, healing begins, and communities stand together in solidarity.
Last year’s campaign was a remarkable success, raising R47 300 in direct donations and R114 450 in sponsored prizes. It reached over 1.7m people on social media, generating 16 279 online engagements, with a total advertising value of R6.5m and PR value of R1.13m.
This year, #Holler aims to go even further. Through live performances, panel discussions, survivor-led talks, and awareness activities, the campaign will spotlight the harsh realities of abuse and human trafficking while inspiring action.

“When we Holler, we don’t just raise our voices. We raise awareness, funds, and hope,” said the campaign organisers. “Now is the time to turn compassion into action.”
The campaign event will take place on August 8 at Gold Reef City.
Your seat could change a life
Businesses, corporates, and individuals are invited to sponsor a table for R10 000. Each table seats ten guests and includes access to an inspiring programme, premium hospitality, and the chance to stand with a cause that truly makes a difference.
“Together, we can raise voices, restore dignity, and help create a future free from violence,” added the campaign leadership.
