Johannesburg SASSA office closes temporarily, services moved to South Hills

Ward 57 Councillor Faeeza Chame has arranged for residents to access SASSA services at South Hills Recreation Centre every Monday.

Due to ongoing operational challenges at the Johannesburg SASSA local office, their offices will be closed temporarily until further notice.

In response, Councillor Faeeza Chame of Ward 57 in the City of Johannesburg has arranged for residents needing SASSA assistance to visit the South Hills Recreation Centre on Geneva Road every Monday.

Starting from September 15 and every Monday thereafter, residents can access SASSA services from 08:00 to 15:00 at the designated venue.

Residents must bring a copy of their ID and a bank statement to avail themselves of these services. Additionally, those already collecting SASSA benefits who have received an SMS from SASSA are advised to update their details.

Chame encourages residents to contact her on 081 329 7424 for more information regarding these arrangements.
