During the performance, the school’s Grade R to Four learners learned about five powerful values to live by: Be Kind, Be Safe, Be Brave, Be Bouncy, and Be You. The learners were also encouraged to share their own experiences of kindness, with a few receiving special prizes for demonstrating courage, which is the sixth core value at SPARK.

At the end of the event, each learner received a goodie bag and left with smiles, taking home both the excitement and the valuable lessons of the day.

SPARK Turffontein expressed their gratitude: “Thank you so much for bringing the High 5 show to our school, it was truly a highlight for both our staff and learners. Everyone enjoyed it so much that the song and dance continued throughout the day.”

The message of the High 5 values has already begun to take root, and the school is excited to see the children embracing their new ‘superpowers.’
