Mondeor CPF fundraiser brings community together

Residents, local businesses and security partners showed their support during a fun-filled event hosted at Sasol Columbine.

The Mondeor CPF Sector 2 hosted its annual fundraiser at Sasol Columbine on October 25.

The event ran from 09:00 to 15:00 and brought together residents, community partners and local businesses for a day of fun, live music, free face painting, carnival games, a jumping castle, and plenty of tasty boerewors rolls fresh off the grill. Children also received free lollipops.

The Mondeor CPF Sector 2 started this fundraiser to strengthen community bonds and raise awareness about local safety initiatives.

Residents meet their patrollers, learn about the CPF and engage with sponsors and security partners, such as Fox Security, the SA Rangers, D&N Function Hire and Events and Sasol Columbine.

Beyond fundraising, the event celebrated the people who volunteer their time to keep Mondeor safe and showed that community safety thrives when residents, businesses and law enforcement work together.

The Secure Fire truck draws plenty of attention as crew members support the fundraiser.

Chairperson Shane Thavar said, “Our fundraiser is about more than good food and entertainment; it’s about unity and appreciation.

The FOX Security team show their fun side with a round of mini golf.

“It’s incredible to see our community come together, not only to enjoy the day but to show support for those who dedicate their time to keeping Mondeor safe. We’re proud of what we achieved this year and are already planning for an even bigger event next year.”
