Mondeor CPF Sector 2 celebrates community heroes
Patrollers, SAPS members, security partners, and local leaders for an evening honouring the dedication and unity that keep Mondeor safe year-round.
The Mondeor CPF Sector 2 recently hosted its annual Appreciation Dinner at The View in Kibler Park, recognising the dedication, commitment and partnership that keep the community safe throughout the year.

The event was attended by CPF patrollers from Sector 2, Mondeor SAPS, local security companies, business partners and ward councillors, all coming together to celebrate the teamwork that forms the backbone of community safety in Mondeor.

Guests enjoyed an evening of camaraderie, heartfelt acknowledgements and live music which created a warm and festive atmosphere befitting the occasion.

One of the highlights of the night was the presentation of Long Service Awards to CPF patrollers who have dedicated years of voluntary service to keeping the area safe.

In his address, Mondeor CPF Sector 2 chairperson Shane Thavar expressed deep gratitude to all partners who continuously support the CPF.

“Tonight is about recognising every patroller, every SAPS member, every security partner and resident who steps up for our community. Our strength has always been in our unity. When we work together, we make Mondeor safer, stronger and more resilient,” said Thavar.

The event once again highlighted the powerful impact of collaboration between the community, SAPS, private security, and local leadership.

Sector 2 remains committed to building on this momentum as it moves into the year ahead.
