Baboo’s Crew provides great day for seniors

Senior citizens from different old age homes enjoyed themselves courtesy of Uncle Baboo and Crew.

The Uncle Baboo and Crew event at Reuven Old Age Home on November 30 was a huge success, and they are deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in making it a memorable and heart-warming day for the elders.

They fed senior citizens from the Reuven, Bellavista, and Annie Burger homes.

Uncle Baboo said it was a day that reminded the seniors that they are loved, valued, and never forgotten, a day filled with smiles, comfort, and connection.

On behalf of the team, they extend their heartfelt thanks to Baitul Ilm for joining forces with them and helping make this day of service even more meaningful; Abdul Manack for being an incredible MC and for bringing so much warmth, laughter, and love to the elders; and ward councillor Rashida Landis, for her presence, support, and encouragement.

“All our sponsors, volunteers, and the community, your generous contributions, time, and effort ensured that the elders were given a day they will truly remember. May Allah reward every person who supported, donated, attended, and made dua,” he said.
