Bossa Mulbarton partners with Stepping Stone Hospice to bring the community together

Bossa Mulbarton now hosts a collection box to support the hospice in caring for patients in need.

Bossa Mulbarton, the family-friendly restaurant at Panorama Shopping Centre, has opened its doors and its heart to the community by becoming an official sponsor of Stepping Stone Hospice.

Under the leadership of Adrian Smit, the restaurant is supporting the Hospice’s vital work by hosting a collection box for fundraising initiatives and charity shop drives.

“We believe in giving back to the community that supports us every day. Stepping Stone does incredible work caring for patients and families during the most difficult times of their lives.

“It’s an honour for us to play a part in helping them continue this essential service. We hope our customers will join us in supporting this worthy cause.

“We invite them to visit our restaurant in Mulbarton to drop off preloved items such as clothing and toys,” he said.

Smith said this partnership is more than a business decision. It is a testament to what can happen when the community comes together to support those in their most vulnerable moments.

Locals will also have the chance to explore the Hospice’s wish list, which will be displayed on the collection bins at Bossa Mulbarton.

This allows donors to see exactly how their contributions make a difference.

Stepping Stone Hospice provides specialised palliative care to patients of all ages, as well as support for their families, ensuring dignity and comfort during life’s most challenging journey.

The organisation relies heavily on community support and fundraising to maintain these critical services.

“Adrian and the team at Bossa Mulbarton have shown extraordinary kindness and generosity. Local businesses like theirs are the backbone of our community. Their support allows us to continue providing care to those who need it most.

“Every donation collected through this partnership will directly impact our ability to serve patients with compassion and dignity,” said Tersia Burger, CEO and founder of Stepping Stone Hospice.

Community members are encouraged to support this initiative when visiting Bossa Mulbarton.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families.
