Cancer survivors unite in Ridgeway for powerful awareness event
Warriors With A Purpose brings together community, healthcare professionals and survivors to inspire hope and healing
Warriors With A Purpose, a patient-led advocacy organisation, successfully hosted the World Cancer Day Survivors Cultural Village event at Hoërskool President High School in Ridgeway.
The event brought together cancer survivors, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community members to share experiences, raise awareness, and promote hope.

The Survivors Cultural Village provided a safe space for survivors to share their stories, celebrate resilience, and inspire others. Attendees had access to professional cancer screening services, informational sessions, and wellness activations focused on holistic healing and patient empowerment.
“This event was not only about awareness, but about connection, education, and restoring hope,” said Renee Singh from Warriors With A Purpose.

The organisation extends its gratitude to partners, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community members who contributed to the event’s success.
Warriors With A Purpose remains committed to advocating for improved patient outcomes, increasing awareness, and fostering supportive environments for cancer survivors.
