Family grateful for officers who helped them

They are the type of law enforcement officers I wish there were more of.

At approximately 14:00 on September 30, I was pulled over by a white Golf 7 with a police logo on the doors.

Just before the Comaro off-ramp on the N12 highway, we came to a halt. The officer got out of his car and approached me to tell me one of my tyres is badly damaged and it is unsafe to drive this way.

It was then that the officer and his colleague assisted me in changing my tyre.

I don’t remember the names of the two officers, one of whom was Indian and the other white. Please accept our thanks for assisting us and I hope they read this as we would like to present them with an appreciation gift.

They are the type of law enforcement officers I wish there were more of.

Whether they were officers from EMPD or SAPS, I am not sure. However, these two men went above and beyond.
