Kibler Park boxer to enjoy a third professional fight in KZN

Sihle Shange, nicknamed ‘Little Tyson’, is a 25-year-old boxer from Johannesburg south who will have his third professional fight on March 30.

Sihle Shange, nicknamed ‘Little Tyson’, is a young boxer from Kibler Park who will fight in Escourt in Kwazulu-Natal in May.

This a fight leading up to the KZN title.

“I started preparing for this fight in December. I can safely say I’m ready and going to win this fight,” said Shange.
In 2023, he managed to get two professional fights and won both. These fights changed his boxing career for the good.

He is known for his orthodox fighting style.

McAusland Boxing Management manages the boxer under the supervision of Colleen McAusland and fights in the bantamweight division.

Shange joined boxing as an amateur in 2013 in Nkandla, Kwazulu-Natal.

He won 70 to 80 fights as an amateur, losing only five.

His career started to blossom in 2014 when he had a chance to fight outside his municipality.

He did not stop there. In 2015, he represented the King Cetywayo district in the Salga Games and was again selected to fight for his province, KZN, in Elite fights.

“These fights made me see I was ready to be a professional boxer, and I knew I needed to go to Johannesburg,” he said.

In 2022, he came to Johannesburg seeking greener pastures that would elevate his career.

He then joined McAusland Boxing Management in 2023, where he became a professional boxer.
